Astaxanthin is a natural carotenoid that occurs in microalgae and marine animals, giving salmon, krill and flamingos their red-orange colour. Traditionally valued, astaxanthin is one of nature’s well-known carotenoids. This supplement provides 500 mg of pure astaxanthin extract per capsule in a plant-based capsule shell.
